Our firm has 4 project managers who over-see our Data / Voice / Fiber / WAP / Coax and Security installations. We are capable of providing full design build solutions and project management that includes RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification. Our 25 trained technicians are certified in Belden, Commscope, Panduit and AMP installations. Training includes communications and fiber optic courses at BICSI and Mohawk College Our staff also attend workshops and seminars sponsored by suppliers of material. They include; installation, termination, design, mechanical and fusion fiber splicing, testing and project management. All Telcon technicians have working clearances with the following organizations; Public Works: CPIC; CRA; CBSA; and RCMP. Specializing in University and Hospital installations, our team offers infection control procedures including the use of negative air pressure tents.
Telcon is fully involved in underground and aerial communication work. We are a proud partner with Bell Canada in maintaining their Outside Plant throughout the Golden Horseshoe since 1982. From Directional bores to backhoe’s and bucket trucks, we offer a progressive approach to today’s outdoor network needs. Our 22 construction teams have been extensively trained in customer relations and the proficient use of equipment. Along with our Inside networking team; we offer end to end fiber and copper installations in any environment.
